I am AMFT license #132807, currently working towards my MFT license working in supervision under Francia Kappeler, MFT.
Supporting people to make positive changes in their lives — that’s my superpower, and one of my greatest joys. I can be your guide on the journey to deeper self-understanding.
Together we collaborate in helping you become more present with yourself as you grow your mind, body, spirit awareness. With greater awareness you have more capacity to strengthen your inner resources, to minimize or eliminate your emotional pain, to deepen your connection with others, and to live the life you want for yourself. For 35 years I have helped many traverse their paths toward wholeness and well-being.
What I bring to our collaboration is respect, heart, creativity, and the wisdom that comes from doing my own personal work. As a two-time cancer survivor, mother, caregiver, and lifetime soul seeker, I’ve discovered pathways to becoming more present and healing that will open you to your true self — authentic and alive.
A lifelong calling has always been creativity, and I received a BA in Fine Arts in 1979. When I was diagnosed with cancer in 1983, my son was only a year old, and my focus turned to understanding people and what it is that makes us wonderful humans tick. I continued my education and, in 1991, received an MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.
During my illness I found strength and great insight through one of the first mind, body, spirit programs in the country: the Cancer Support and Education Center in Menlo Park, California. I graduated from their Facilitator Training Program, worked on staff for 7 years, and then become the Executive Director for the next 10 years.
In 2009 I discovered SoulCollage® and became a facilitator a year later. This intuitive, creative process that is both therapeutic and transformative has provided a way for me to combine creativity with personal development.
Life is a precious gift. Its value lies in deeper connection with others — and yourself. With an open heart, tolerance, curiosity, and compassion, we move forward on the journey together.
